I cried when I picked it up...it is absolutely wonderful. and Peter loved it too and was very very surprised.

Thank you again Kylie. We will be so happy to come home to our house. We thought about selling it and buying a house that is bigger but we really love it. It was such a  big achievement when we bought it and we've made some lovely memories - particularly bringing the kids home to it. I put it up on the wall (next to City Hall) and Nick noticed it as soon as he cam ehome from school. Dave didn't but Nick said to him ' don't you notice anything special in the lounge room?' We all really love it - Nick is most impressed because he hadn't seen the emailed picture and it was a huge surprise for him.  We love Harry in the painting - that is where he sits as well.

After spending 5 years commuting between Brisbane and Sydney, I commissioned Kylie to do a painting of Coogee beach, where we had lived. I took a number of photos and she did this beautiful painting which captures the essence of the place - particularly the blue of the ocean. It brings back wonderful memories of our very happy times there.Yes, Geoff loves the painting - got quite emtional about it actually, we have it in the living room so can look at it every day.
