Why is Art Important? A picture is worth 1000 words! Art should be Educational and FUN! At some stage in our lives we will all need to draw, to help with descriptions and communicate ideas to our family, friends or co-workers. This may be in the form of many things, such as drawing maps, giving directions, or through the presentation/ layout of school/work projects. Often we are faced with the decision of colour matching / co-ordinating and the need to do a quick sketch to illustrate a point or show someone what an object looks like. In our everyday home and work situations we make decisions on what colour to wear, what clothes/patterns go together, the colour scheme for our home renovations etc
